Jamestown bid June a fond farewell after scoring four runs in the ninth inning to have an improbable end to their 8-game losing streak and beat Batavia 6-5. July starts with Auburn, a team that just swept the Jammers in rather easy fashion last week in Auburn.

TRANSACTION  NEWS

Pedro Mendoza was activated off the 7-day disabled list two nights ago to further clog up the infield. Subsequent move sent Yeison Hernandez up to Greensboro. Hernandez, who just turned 20 years old, was hitting .282 in eight games this year.
